read the book-- "The summer I turned pretty" by Jenny Han. ?
my sister said its good and i'm wondering if i should read it.?

Some summers are just destined to be pretty
Belly measures her life in summers. Everything honest, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. I saw that book at the store. I was going to get it - but I get "my horizontal life" by Chelsea Handler instead. I love Chelsea Handler :]
Answers: Jenny Han works at my school, and I remember nearby was a party for her when her book was released.
I enjoy not read the book, no, but Jenny Han is a FANTASTIC writer, and obviously cares a lot roughly speaking writing. There were and are weekly meetings -- called "Writer's Group" -- at my college, where five of us wrote and critiqued each others' works. The group was head by Jenny. She was the best of all of us, so I would assume her book is fanastically written, as I have be around her writing all through my sophomore year.
It's been acclaimed, hasn't it?
I say walk for it, although I cannot say I have read it. I'm sure it is good, so I vote go for it. It is the first in a series of other books she will write about the topic. Happy reading! Hope this help!
