15 year older discipline?
I have a 14 year old brother who is the child from hell. He has be in juvenile hall over 15 times and nothing seem to change him. When he gets mad he beat my mom and sister, breaks windows, doors, or anything he can get his hands on. His probation officer is useless and freshly orders him counseling or community service. Taking privileges away just sets him more angry and hes too old to spank or anything resembling that. How would you handle a situation like this?

One way of looking at this is that your child’s frustration, disappointment and anger are problems that he solves by anyone violent. Another way of looking at this is that the kid’s use of aggression and violence have worked successfully so far. It’s become his primary problem-solving technique and a means for gaining power in the home. When he hear the word “no” and feels frustrated and powerless, he hits someone or something and the adults in the situation back stale, give in and don’t require him to comply. Striking out gives him pay for a sense of power.
If kids are gaining power by being violent, the first article that you have to do is take away the power by not tolerating the violence. Now, here are different levels of violence in people’s houses. And there’s different power that kids go and get from it. I can’t answer every level of violence in one article, but it should be contained that if it gains power in a family, that family circle is in a lot of trouble and may need outside minister to. Violence is a seductive shortcut to power. And once it works, it’s hard to get kids to accept alternative ways of getting power. a good old fashioned hiding. where's dad? if i have a son playing up like that i can promise you he'd catch the a55whooping from nam, then he'd be kicked out of my house until he'd wised up some.
Turn him over to the state as an unruly child. Your mother must protect herself and the rest of the family. He will only swot by "tough love" and understand that his actions have consequence and these are the results of what happen when citizens behave in such ways.
My mother had to do this with my brother and it be the BEST thing she could've ever done! My aunts didn't do this with my cousins (who acted the same way) and long story short- 20 some years following they are still constantly in and out of jail, can not hold jobs, and other in trouble!
Kick him outa the house, make him wake up to him self, thats what we did with my brother
Answers: Something really really bad or touching have to happen to him. We only mature from experience. your mother clearly need to step it up a bit. If I was a parent and my son ever hit me at that age, my other children and then have the audacity to break my furniture which I paid for I would back-hand him and send him to boot-camp or an evil relatives for a while.
