Why do you feel that so oodles teenagers want to enjoy sex?
Because of their hormones. And the fact that so many other teens are having sex, they do it so they're not the unconventional one out.

They're bored, their friends pressure them, their boyfriend/girlfriend pressures them, they're trying to be rebellious, they want to get pregnant, they think they're not regular if they don't have sex, they're drunk or high, they're trying to get their boyfriend/girlfriend to stay near them, they're trying to prove their love to their boyfriend/girlfriend. Everyone's reason is different. And I don't believe that teens have sex just because of the medium or something, most of them think through their decision to have sex in the past they do it, although it might not seem that way.
It kind of annoys me when empire blame hormones for everything teenagers do. We're people and (gasp) some of our actions are not caused by chemicals.

b) the message the "stars" are sending.
2) as more and more people start, the "wonderful" stories circulate around to the younger kids.
3) discipline isn't as strict as in the "older" days.
a) the parents of various of some of these kids started in their teens also.
i) some of these parents just dont care what their kids do, as long they stay outta reformatory.
4) over the years, theres been more and more pressure on teens to be ablsolutely perfect, yet they still hold the stereotype of being horrible.
a) this leads for teens to find a new stress reliever.
5) materials that promote sex (porn to be specific, descriptions of how it feel, sex blogs) are wayyy to easy to get to.
and yes. it is screwed up.

Because they're alive and normal and sexually mature. Their hormones are pushing them to have sex, nature's mode of getting them to have babies and assure the continuation of the species, the same reason adjectives animals have sex.

Sex is everywhere! On tv, within movies, in music. Even characters from Disney shows are sexual in a way. On the show Wizards of Waverly Place I notice that the mom's cleavage is always showing, and one time they even blurred out her boobs cuz they were showing so much! Kids are surrounded by the idea of sex, even from a young-looking age.
