Another cross-question something like the movie entity...?
Okay well I asked a question a few minutes ago about going to see Harry Potter by myself (I'm a 14 year dated girl) because I don't have any friends to go with. The movie the boards is hardly a mile from my house and I ride my bike around there all the time. So, I category of assumed my mom would let me go because it was so close.
Well, when I asked her, she completely freaked out cliché "NORMAL PEOPLE YOUR AGE DON'T GO TO MOVIES BY THEMSELVES! PEOPLE WOULD THINK YOU"RE WEIRD! NORMAL PEOPLE GO WITH THEIR FRIENDS! IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS!"
And she said a bunch of other stuff about how weird it was for me to turn someplace alone, and people would laugh at me if they saw me alone and stuff.
Then she started making plans to go to see Harry Potter at the IMAX within New Orleans (about and hour and a half from our house) next week at night or something. We're trying to squirrel away money, so I wanted to ride my bike to a morning showing of the movie and use my own money to only buy a ticket. But, she went and said we should drive 75 miles to see it surrounded by IMAX at night.
All she did was make me perceive like the loser I feel like I am within school, and now I feel grim and I can't see the movie.
Can I do anything to convince her to let me go?

Tell her how you feel. Explain that you want to go by yourself and that you don't carefulness if people think your weird. Explain that you're trying to assistance save money. Just tell her how you feel and how she made you grain.
No one would laugh at you. Hardly anyone would notice. And your mom shouldn't be yell at you, but she is saying that for your safety. She doesn't want you to get stolen or ya know, she is lately being protective. No one will think you are weird any. Especially with a theater full of a bunch of people. I would go near the idea your mom has. Just to be on the safe side :)
Do you own any siblings? You could go to the theater with them if you wanted to. Or cousins, neighbors etc...

Answers: Um, it's completely normal to walk to the movies by yourself. People do it all the time. They wouldn't think you're weird. And besides, you - and especially your mother - shouldn't verbs about what other people think. And your mother shouldn't be axiom things like that to you. If you want to go out and see this movie and try to enjoy yourself, you should know how to.
Although, I wouldn't let you ride your bike by yourself. If you were my daughter, I'd drive you to the movies. But just because you're going by yourself doesn't niggardly anything. There's a good movie out that you want to see. You should tell her that you just want to budge out and enjoy yourself by watching the movie.
