Why does everyone on Y!A Adolescent appear to dislike their parents?
I just think it is immature.
I love my parents lol.

Some kids abominate their parents though for dumb things, like taking away their cell phone. It's like...wow, great excuse.
i agree lol alot of teens take stuff their parents do for granted and act close to they have it so rough. i alot of times wanted to leave home to as a teen and yes i did capture mad at my dad but i never ever said i hated him as thats immature, if something should arise to them i bet theyd feel horrid having said the last words and have their last feelings twords their parents be hate. teens today are of late immature and think the world revolves around them and they can just do what they want when they want not reading their parents have been there done that and are purely trying to help them make the right decisions
i love my parents, sometimes they can be bitchy, but at the end of the day they love me and care for me and resourcefully... made me, and sometimes people can't look past that
It's not a Y!A adolescent section thing, is an teenaged thing. I believe part of being a young person is to be overly dramatic and take things very seriously even though common sense say that our worries are kind of mundane. Some of us blow things out of proportion when things at home don't work the way we think they should work we clutch it on the parents. I guess some confuse parental discipline with being misunderstood or unloved.
Teens enjoy an immense sense of entitlement and when parents don't give us, say or buy what we feel it's our right we detest them. When we grow older most of us will realize that we are not the victims of some evil plot between school, parents and other kids to destroy us.
I love my ethnic group and I wouldn't trade them for the world. If there's anything half good about me it's because of them.
i don't hate 'em. i just suggest they over protective which is kind of annoying. but in the inside we all know we LOVE our parents.
Sometimes teens are mad at their parents, that doesn't mean they antipathy them. Over time, they come to realize they love their parents.
Other times, teens actually have a reason to aversion their parents. Like if their parents abused them as a child.
But I love my parents :)

I don't aversion my parents either I love them, but one of the reasons why you are probably seeing this is because no adolescent is really going to be asking a give somebody the third degree that involves how much they love and appreciate their parents lol

I think when they enjoy something to complain about, about their parents, they'll come here and write about it. I haven't see a question about someone saying they love their parents so it's mostly parent-hate/dislike

I dont dislike intensely them, I know that what they do is to keep me safe, like if be in an arguement, its mostly because they dont want anything to happen to me.
I respect my parents, and love them, cause if you really have an idea that about it they made a commitment to take care of u for your enthusiasm. It takes a lot of strength. but just sometimes they cant a moment ago be annoying

Really the only time I see people say explicitly when they're mad at them. When people are mad or really upset, they say-so things they don't mean. Everyone does it. Though some actually have intention to hate theirs. Depending on the situation it isn't always immature.

They don't really aversion their parents, they hate a lot of the things they say and do.
I love my parents, really, but I can't stand it when they don't walk out me alone, which is frequent. My mom calls it the stage where you can't stand your family and try as knotty as you can to get away.
