to recount the truth i did that once or twice but i am perfectly straight. and do bring it up with him. he may just be curious how it feel to a girl.
i think you should talk to him maybe he be just curious and your over reacting. I don't think it's freshly apart of growing up but maybe he had a reason to.

ummmm, no not really. my bro is 12 and i aways try to prank him by putting make up on himin his sleep, and he practically freaks everytime. no guyz that age do that, cuz they want to feel big and strong at the age, and he should be trying on his dads clothes and looking for pit hair.

There are three things you can work with him on.. Please grasp his approval and involvement on these ideas:
1. Its hard to control so he needs to want to limit his cross-dressing. Don't expect him to quit. It's hard-wired in his brain. But he can control it, and live a normal, jovial, productive life. Encourage him to keep it a secret - breed everyone think he doesn't cross-dress. Then let him have an article or two that he can use discreetly contained by his private moments. (He should use his own clothes - not his sister's.)
2. He probably thinks that it would have been better if he be a girl. He needs to believe that its great that he's a man. It's a man's world. We need people resembling him to make this world a better place. He will be our hero who will vanquish the evil-doer, defend the weak, title holder justice, and look good while he does it. Get involved with masculine things that develop his male ego.
3. Develop social skills. He wants to be popular with the girls, but how? Can he waltz? play the guitar? Guys don't go to charm school, so what can he do? Be sensitive about this. Girls his age discern awkward too, so if he can learn to make a few jokes and oblige them feel comfortable that would be so cool.
If he cannot talk with you going on for this, then just give him time. He wants you and you'll always be there for him. At least you'll enjoy some answers for him.

Maybe he just likes to play dress up. It may still be an innocent thing, unless hes goin around within make up and heels then maybe you should agree to him do it for a while.
