Friend next to relationship problems...?

My friend is 19 years old and she is dating this guy who lives and goes to college across the state, so its a long distance relationship.

Well he broke up with her because "he misses her too much"

All my friend does is complain how much she misses him and how much she loves him but on the other hand she wont try and talk to him and get back together near him. Everything I suggest she shoots down...
