How Many Of You Teenagers Watch "16 And Pregnant" On MTV?

If you do, has it changed your mind about having unprotected sex and/or AT LEAST research about "safe" sex.

I think that is one of the best TV programs going out nearby for young people.

It gives you a "real" look into the consequences of what is surrounded by store for younger people when pregnancy happens at a young age.
I agree. Even though I already know I'm going to wait to own sex till I'm married. But it actually is a good program for teens to watch, we in reality had homework for health to watch it. MTV doesn't cause it seem dramatically bad, nor super easy peasy. They variety it realistic. I'm glad they made this tv show, because it actually gives teens an outlook on what could begin if you have sex at a young age- with or in need protection.

:)
I've seen a couple episodes and I think it is a great show. I know a lot of family support teaching abstinence in school but I think they should teach about locked sex as well. Of course, abstinence is the only 100% track to avoid STDs and pregnancy but obviously kids are still doing it anyway and they don't know how to protect themselves. If safe sex was qualified in schools then I contemplate kids would listen because no teenage girl wants to end up pregnant contained by high school and there noticeably is pressure to have sex. I personally practice abstinence because I want to enjoy a good life put together before I even suggest about bringing a child into the world but I think teaching locked sex is really important as well.
yeah, im a pre-teen and i still watch it. i regard as its a good message because it makes people correct their minds about things like that and show how hard it is. Source(s): MTV
I watch it. It didn't really change my mind. Before, I was abiding my self for marriage (trust me, my mom just had a tot, and I babysit a lot. I do not want a baby that I cannot hand rear legs to its mother after a few hours. at least not until I am married). I'm still saving myself for marriage. I consistency bad for some of the girls. Just because they are so immature, and act close to such babies when caring for their babies! (Whitney was very fruitless. She was very immature!). I do ponder it is a good show, but it didn't change my opinion because I be against it before.
yeahh, and i love the show and can relate because unlike what some people reflect it is really hard to handel a baby when your 16, i cried so hard on the end episode.
I watch it, it's a great show. I'm 22 though, so I don't count as a teen. Anyway, not all the father are immature and stuff - that kid Tyler who gave his child up for adoption with that girl catelynn be very mature, level-headed, and slightly sweet.

My boyfriend watched a few episodes with me - we really liked the one I a short time ago mentioned and cried a little for that couple :(
capably i do and really never thought about unprotected sex so yeah

i love that show lol, cant wait for the reunion!

I watch it! and i never thought of have unprotected before wedding! It's sad how they have to grow-up too quick and the father of their babe-in-arms is immature, childish and useless!

:]
Answers:    i monitor it, it proves a good point to 16 year olds on what the consequences could be if you don't use protection. some of the stories on there are really sad approaching the adoption one. other then that i hope this show shows all 16 year old girls to use proper safekeeping
I love that show i have a sister that got pregnant at seventeen so i get to watch all the dificulties first hand and this show could backing some people going this way see how hard it is.
yeah i've seen like 5 episodes..conceivably 4..and i wasnt planning on having unprotected sex so it hasnt really changed my mind but it is pretty educational...especially about how the boyfriends/fiance's, are waaay to unripe..and they dont help out..and in some cases, they are'nt even there. resembling with farrah...
Me.

I think they show it a bit too much , it's similar to I got the message the FIRST time i watched it, It's good that they don't glamorise it too much though similar to other programmes i have seen x
I love that show! It acctually hasn't changed my mind for anything, just another show.
yes i lovee this showww (: i have an idea that it teaches teenagers a lesson . i love it, and i can't people the season is over ):
I DO ! and no it has not changed my mind., i dont have sex, im with the sole purpose 13... nd im very smart.. well i can say it somewhat channed my mind almost the type of boys out there nd stuff! so i guess it has helped, adjectives wise
I watch it and love it. It didn't really change my mind on safe sex though. The merely episode i didn't like was the last one when the give their baby away.
I don't know if anyone cares but one of the girls on the show has a Y!A picture.

Yes! It's my favorite show. Honestly it makes me want a newborn way more. But of course I won't because I wouldn't be able to provide everything for a toddler.
