Question for PRO-LIFE associates?
This probably won't make any sense but I don't really care.
If you're pro-life, you believe life starts from conception, right? Yes, ok so when you enjoy a baby and they are 10 months old (for example) wouldn't they *really* be 19 months old? Since time started the moment they were concieved?

and the 19 is based on conceptions.

I don't know if I could call myself pro vivacity, because I believe that there are times when abortion is appropriate (ectopic pregnancies, other life threatening situations for the mother. Can anyone call themselves pro duration if they believe that it is not ok to abort if the mother may die during her pregnancy? Can I call myself pro life if there are stipulations? I don't know, specifically a different conversation, but anyway...) I do believe that life begins at conception. Yes- a 10 month old newborn has been a living being for 19 months, but we count age from the time the tot is born. Your first BIRTHday is celebrating the day you were born, and you are not born until 9 months after conception.

That's a pretty silly course to look at it. Your legal age runs from birth, so it has nothing to do beside "life." You can simultaneously believe that life begins at conception, and that a being is XX years old because they were born exactly XX years ago. They don't contradict. I don't think it help your argument.

You are correct, but that is just the way it is calculated. And this is a cross-question that could apply to everyone, not just pro-life people. Because I don't think anyone -- pro-life or pro-abortion -- would vote that a baby is just not alive until the moment they pop out of the birth canal. LOL
I guess life starts when the baby is far enough along to know how to survive outside of the womb. and this is going to sound dumb after saying that, but i think once the little one takes their first breath they start the age clock, which is why 10 months after they come out, they're considered 10 months old instead of 19.
i'm pro-life for me, I could never get an abortion intuitively, but i'm over all pro-choice, it's is up to the woman what she wants to do with her body, and it' really no body else's business.

Actually, as someone who is pro-life, you are right that we do count life from birth. Today, I am pregnant and I tend to say my little one is 35 weeks 2 days (but I KNOW he is only 33 weeks 2 days from conception). Further, even though my son was born at 34 weeks, when I compare him to other kids, I did use his "due date" instead of his "birth date". So, yes, I guess it does permeate our beliefs nearly our children.
In South Korea, once your born you are 1 years matured..(I guess they consider being in the womb as 1 year.)
