Why does everyone assume i'm gay?
This is long,but i need answers.
So, my mom and my dad (step-dad,but he's like a father to me) sat me down finishing night, because they were "unsure about my sexuality". I know that i am not gay, i am straight, and they newly don't get it. They said they don't mind if i'm gay and that it is okay if i am..but i'm not. I explained to them that just because i spend time with my younger sisters (12, and 8, i usually newly take them to the movies or to a theme park or whatever), and my friends consists of both boys AND girls, that does not make me gay. I've have two girlfriends before, and they thought that she wasn't really my girlfriend and that i was going out with a guy. I love my parents to loss, they are amazing parents and i really appreciate all that they do for me. I sat them down this morning and for the second time explained to them that i am not gay, that i've had two girlfriends, and that the subsequent girlfriend i have they can meet. I've kissed a girl before. I've held hand with her in front of them--either they're blind, or just didn't see.
I know for a certainty that i'm not gay. Even my great-grandma brought it up asking me if that i need to ever tell someone it can be her..what can i do to show them i'm not gay? I've tried kissing her in front of them ( on the cheek or forehead) and holding her appendage.
Help please??

why the heck would your family ask you about it ? its non of their business and i of late do not understand it its seems a bit disrespectful if you ask me
Don't worry about what they speak. Just act yourself and they'll see who you really are. This is the best way to make them believe that you are straight: if you try to show them especially that you are not gay next they may think your just shying away from being gay.

Did you ask them why they think you are gay? Maybe they enjoy some kind of suspicion grounded in a misunderstanding. (e.g., maybe somebody access gay porn on your computer and they thought it was you). It's really weird that they would approach you about it minus some kind of evidence. There must be something that they thought was a sure sign. Get at the root of that issue and find out what makes them reflect that. This will help you answer their questions.
Whatever you do, don't go out of your method to try to convince them otherwise. It will look like you are trying to hard. And they will become even more concerned over your sexual identity. Just be cool and they will hopefully lay off.

they think that you are gay because you are not out here trying to sleep near everything that walks. that is how this messed up society is now. ancestors think that if you are not some disrespectful sex addict, then you must be gay. no event what you do, they are going to think that you are gay until you get married and have kids. possibly they desperately want you to be gay or something. you've tried kissing and holding hands and that did not work. you can try to be a little more aggressive without one disrespectful. however that may fail to. they will probably think that you are gay until they catch you have sex with a girl.

I believe it's sweet how you spoil your sisters maybe they think you're gay because your parents think it's (for some reason) grotesque for you to spoil you sisters. Man i wish my older bother spoiled me. Or it could be the way to dress, some of your mannerism idk. you sound pretty straight to me. I guess spoiling your sisters, having friends that are both boys and girls qualifies as human being gay idk what is up with your family. I don't know if they don't understand or what. People are too in position to accept stereotypes and wat to be politically correct. there are campaigns going around maxim being gay is great and everybody should be gay. or if you dont embrace homosexual lifestyle you are bigot too many people also believe that if nearby is anything feminine about a guy the must be gay best to ignore their comments in that nouns and enjoy life. dont let attitudes close to that get to you. and dont worry the media is so full of recitation parents that they need to talk to children about possibly self gay they may have thought if they didn't talk to you about it they be not good parents so just figure they are trying to show they exactness about you
