Are you more of a "tough love" person, or a little bit more compassionate?
Which do you think is better? And WHY?

i fall into the tough love category. although kids (and the general population) may dislike this type of person more there's more to cram from tough love. i always here of adults who say they were parented next to tough love and don't regret it being that way. i hardly ever hear someone read aloud the opposite. kids learn more in the expiration and grow up to be better individuals.

Compassionate is okay, as long as you don't over do it.
I'd like to consider myself more to the compassionate side, I do tend to express my feelings easily to other relations.

Not at adjectives a tough love type. Only when forced. I'm compassionate to the letter. Tough love makes me feel expect and uncaring. I'm a little *too* soft at times. :)

I'm more compassionate...I just can't do the "tough love" thing to people. Well, sometimes I can. I simply don't like it as much.
I think compassion is better, because you make the personality feel better right when they need it. "Tough love" helps within the long run, sometimes, but it doesn't make the person feel any better when they're down.
(I know, I know, I'm sour to get a life again. It's just so BORING not posting anything...I held out for resembling, 4 days though, so that's a start, right? xD)
