A Fast Food Jobbbbbbbbbbbbb?
Can anybody tell me what it is like?
Im getting a first job
and im considering
conceivably working at
a fast food place.
That be my first job. If you like a fast tread environment and working with people, then this is a great employment. And now with minimum wage going up the pay is pretty suitable, when I was working fast food I was simply getting paid $4.50 an hour, now days it's $7.25, it is a good first mission.
I've worked in the food service industry for about 5 years; it be my first job. The term fast food sums it up pretty resourcefully. The main disadvantage of a fast food job is the tread is extremely hectic. you'll also probably have a crazy work schedule, probably some bum coworkers and if you have to work the lolly register, it means you have to deal beside the general public (i.e. a bunch of idiots).
It's not a glamorous job, you don't get much respect for it, and there's some irritations, but it can also be a great deal of fun. The work environment is pretty loose, and the stakes are pretty low if you make a mistake. All in all, it's a great process to start out, but you definitely don't want to make a career out of it.
I havent
but my friend has.
be prepared to promise with some people who have BIG attitudes
and hold good patient with them
Well I come home covered in custard, smelling like french fries/cheese curds, and this weird guy who is 9 years elder then me is constantly hitting on me (or being OVER friendly he really creeps me out). I get okay retribution, but I work most of my hours on the weekends (I hate that!) and some of the people I work with are really fun, (except creeper guy). I speak take it, a jobs a job, especially a first brief. Save up for a car/college that's what I'm doing, you won't regret it. If you really dislike the job you can always quit. Good luck :)
No, Because I've never worked in one.
But I can say you have to business deal with some rudeeeee people.
