For Preteens/Teens that hold passed algebra, is it rock-hard?
im taking it this year and going for straight a's.
Is is hard?
How hard do you need to work to find an a, how long will my hw take me every night, an hour, two?

We had to take mandatory Algebra for 4 jargon. Gah I know :S
I got an A+, two A's and the last term I get a B-
It's not really that hard. I'm no genius, i'm an average B grade soul usually, and I think I got pretty great marks surrounded by it(for 3 terms at least).
Although it really really depends on the teacher. When I got an A+ and one of the A's, I have a teacher that was a real math lover and really really required us to learn. She was great, a little outlandish, but she was great at math and everything.
The next year was a bit different. When I get another A, well that was not from the teacher. I cogitate it was luck that I actually did well on the oral exam, since I didn't do well on the homework and my teacher didn't even understand math. I have the same teacher when I got a B-, and at that time she give us the craziest work and it made absolutely no sense. On the final test, only 3 those from a class of 32 PASSED. She was crazy this teacher and we learned zilch from her.
Sorry I talk and rant too much hah. You should expect about an hour of homework everynight. It may be a lot but its mostly lately grasping the whole thing, not writing.
If you get a biddable teacher, you'll do fine and in reality, if qualified right, its one of the easiest math subjects out there. In my opinion at least.

Well i'm a sophomore and i took algebra within 8th grade an you really do need to take report and study. I was lucky because i had a teacher who agree to you do your home work in class so most nights i didn't have and y algebra homework. I really depends on how apposite in math you are and how well you take report and don't be afraid to ask question and answer question in class it really does relief. Good luck.
i took algebra last year,
lacking taking pre algebra,
and passed with Bs or Cs.
so if you took pre algebra,
you should be fine.
just be sure to pay attention and do your homework.
and theres a partition called Parabolas,
and almost EVERYONE finds that very difficult,
so make sure to capture good notes on that,
and study it.

I've passed algebra with an A. It's not that firm, just listen to the teacher, write down what she tells you to and revise!
It might be rather hard at first, but the more you practice, the easier it becomes and you'll make smaller amount mistakes :)

Btw you can always buy the algebra textbooks from shops and practice during the holidays or weekends.
I instinctively think it really depends on the teacher but if you like math I have an idea that it will come easy but if not just brand name sure you take notes on EVERYTHING especially examples because algebra is the ground foundation for the following math classes like geometry &+ omg that be hard for me. It's possible to get Straight As of course a moment ago be focus and takes notes no doubt : )
I took Algebra I last year and yes it was easy. I solely had a problem with one thing, which be my fault. I got As and barely have to read anything... it was pretty much just a review of all the work we did surrounded by lower grades. As for homework I don't know... I do my work online, and the easy lessons/quizzes took maybe ten minutes. I know things like that thieve a lot longer in classrooms though.
Well I finished Algebra 1 in 7th grade. It wasn't extremely hard but it be a challenge. Basically it's a build up from Pre-Algebra.
My homework took me about 30-45 minutes but it depended on the concept. You can get an A if you work thorny.

I took APC Algebra 1 in 9th grade.
I have the WORST mentor!
I almost failed that class!
Its the hardest math I had ever taken!

if you study and do your homework and actually stay committed to procure an A you will but just do the work!! i cant stress it enough.. hopefully this goes for adjectives you classes lol
but like i wish i actually did study for adjectives the tests like when i studied i got it because partially the questions are on the work they give you or study guide and when i didn't i was confused because i didn't know if i be doing it right and i sorta forgot a few things so study and work hard! hope you get an A :)
EDIT: it doesnt depend on the teacher because if you vote that your either a slacker or lazy just to do your work.and dont find lazy!!

I never studied and I made an A within there.
But I'm great with Algebra. It really isn't that hard.
I took Algebra ending year, a year ahead of when I was supposed to. I didn't take pre algebra. It was really comfortable and I had maybe 30 minutes to an hour a night simply about four nights a week. It really depends on the teacher you carry. Mine was pretty nice. I passed the class with a high A. I didn't own to work that hard, I just had to income attention. Oh and try not to miss class because it makes it REALLY hard to catch up.

Not nearly as tough as Geometry was for me. You probably will only have some bookwork or a worksheet for hw, and that will thieve under an hour.
It's easy. Homework shouldn't take more than a partially hour. Just pay attention in class, and ask if you don't understand.
