I don't know how to enlighten my mom I'm quitting belt?
Okay, well today was the second day of march band camp, and I utterly HATE it! It's not because I can't do the stuff, I just can`t bear it all. It's only for one semester, then I enjoy concert band the next semester, which I still want to do. And I always considered necessary to do Art, but it wasn't available because of marching band. But, the catch is, we already salaried 300 bucks for the entire band experience. I mean, most of it went to fastening camp, which is next week [right now is rookie military camp, next week is the actual camp]. So, should I just go to the military camp and then quit? WHAT SHOULD I TELL MY MOM? I don't want her to be dissappointed in me, but I REALLY hate it!
Give your mom a heads up that you're not enjoying it much now, but dispense it a go for a few more days at least. If you still hate it after, you can talk to her about maybe wanting to quit, or you could find that you warm up to it and actually like it. It would be best to just sensitive of suck it up and get through it though. I mean, she did pay adjectives that money for you =/
My daughter hated it, too, when she first started. You should try to stick it out because after camp you may change your mind. Being within marching band will give you an amazing community of friends and if you plan on college within the future, the self-discipline you learn in MB will variety getting your degree much easier. BTW: my daughter ended up sticking with tie all four years of HS and eventually became the drum major contained by junior year. Advice: give yourself some time to make some band friends and you may a moment ago start loving it!

ah tough situation :( you should have quit before you paid. But anyways, you can't freshly waste 300$ unless you pay it back, so turn and do the camp then quit or pay your mother 300$ formerly it starts and not go. Hope everything works out :)
Answers: If it's solitary the 2nd day of of your band experience give somewhat more time. When I did high school band the first week of decoration camp I really hated it also, but after about 2 weeks I started appetite it.
Right there could be your compromise with your mom tell her you don't close to it but are willing to try for a week or 2 more and if you still don't like it you would like to quit and transport up art. Also check with your school in our lofty school you had to do both marching and concert you couldn't do a short time ago one or the other.
