12 year hoary brother is afraid of apparition and wont sleep alone.?
it is so annnoying. He always wants to come in my room to budge to sleep because hes afraid and when i say no he asks my mom and of course she says yes. I am the oldest by the track. When i was scared my mom made me sleep alone no matter what thats why im not afraid. Its ridiculous my brother is afraid to embezzle out the trash even during the day. WHAT SHOULD I DO ITS DRIVING ME NUTS! He also has this wierd thing say aloud if my other little brother is awake then hell sleep with him but if my other little brother is alseep he scared to sleep next to him. When we watch scary movies he insist on watching them with us because he is too anxious to go in his room and watch tv. HELP PLEASE! I WANT MY ROOM BACK! very soon my mom told me yesterday that my room wasnt mine anymore it was mine and his. I WANT MY ROOM BACK! what should i do. hes practically scared of everything. walking home by himself, being alone at home, sleeping alone, taking out the trash, going to the store, anything that requires him to be alone. HELP!
i was surrounded by the same position. i was joking around around texas chainsaw massscre and my 12 year old brother heard me and he was panicky so he tried to sleep in my room all of the time.
i told him that it doesn't exist and i came up near some sort of story. he doesn't do it any more.
scare ur brother by pretending to be a ghost and them tell him that it be just you and that ghosts arent real.
i hope that help =) good luck=)
hav a talk beside your little brother, and tel him he needs to man up, and quit acting like a little girl. everyone is afraid of something and tel him that that doesnt be paid him any speicalller and he needs to get over it. wen he come sin you room, just push him out the door and put in the picture him he needs to help protect the house.
Answers: That poor kid! I work out you of course, that is mind numbingly annoying lol
Talk to him about why he is so terrified. He will feel a bit closer to you and will make him accept your aid.
Start by him being alone in his room. Ask him: "If I leave, what are you upset of?" He will answer and show you the parts of the room that he finds frightening. Change the look of those places so he feels more comfortable. Then you say for him to stay 10 minutes a day alone contained by that room, watching TV or something. Tell him you are on the other side of the door. He can talk to you and you will try to calm him down by the other side of the door. When you see he spends more than 7 minutes in silence short complaining, you tell him to start staying 20 minutes. But this time, the first 10 minutes you won't be near the door, you will go away (you enjoy to warn him that you won't be there for 10 minutes but to stay in the room).
See if the anxiety starts to grown smaller beside these exercises. You also need to talk about the apparition, how is he like, what does he do, try to put an human face on it. Tell him that normally ghoul don't harm, they are just lost (if he believes in ghost, try to transfer his believes to a more spiritual way and not make him guess of something like ghostbusters and stuff). You know, people that are lost in the world, trying to find their route blablabla... He will start to feel that when he feels these presences, it's not a heavy and startling environment.
Then move on to helping him sleep alone, go outside alone, stuff like that. Give him something religious to "protect him". All kids believe that religious symbols drive the evil away hehe.
And, you know, only be veeeeeeeery patient with him, you'll get your room vertebrae. Ask help from the rest of the family.
Good Luck!! :D :D
Talk to him and tell him theres nothing to be afraid of. Plus, if a apparition is really going to try to get him or something then being next to you wont help. Tell him your sick of him being such a wimp and he needs to grow up. If he doesn't correct then tell him that if he's going to act resembling a little kid then your going to treat him like one and consequently tell him he should go to bed early close to a little kid would or things like that. It's not exactly the most mature road to handle it but it normally gets the point across.
