11 years-old: it is precipitate to piercings and cigarettes?
Hello. My name is Cristina and I do piercing and tattooes. I have 20 earrings, 10 piercings and all the arms and pay for tattooed. I also smoke. I have 2 children of 11-years old. Both of them have the mohawk style (one of them blue and green, and the other yellow and red), 2 rings, 40 bracelets, 6 necklaces and 5 studs. Yesterday they asked me if they could get two piercings (nose, labret) and they asked me if they could smoke a cigarette. What I say to them? Have you ever see kids smoking or children with piercing? How old were they? Where they have the piercing?
I had my ears pierced when I was under a year prehistoric. Nose I don't see a problem at 11. Smoking yes. You could get into trouble for that. as in jail time.
You should tell them the truth:
Any age is too young to smoke. NOBODY should ever smoke. It`s a dirty, unsafe, and unattractive habit -- sorry, smokers. It`ll leave you near stained fingers, bad breath, smelly clothes, PLUS, it`ll kill you. Tell them about the lovely conditions, close to emphysema, cancer, throat, oral, breast, testicular, prostate, stomach. You absolutely have to keep them from smoking.
As for the piercing, that`s purely up to you. I contemplate that the most piercing work a younger child ought to have done is the ear.

And yes, if you get caught for giving your child a cigarette, you will be nailed by canon enforcement. You should know how awful smoking is! Don`t let them! Even considering it is wrong. Save your children!

And they may even be suffering from second hand smoke because of you! And piercings...have you ever seen an 11 year ripened walking on the street with a nose ring smoking a cigarette? My parents didn't agree to me get any major piercing besides my ear lobes before the age of 15.(belly button) First tattoo at 18. I muse that was a pretty good rule. Everything else happened after I moved out. Just because things are ok for you to do doesn't mingy they are ok for them to do right now. I think you should also talk to them more or less the risks of smoking. Start smoking at the age of 11.what about the age of 30 what will their health be like? Not to mention the 2nd foot smoke they have been smelling for their whole lives. Your setting yourself up for core problems once these kids hit 16+.

(He has seen his parents & parents friends seize drunk for years) I was ashamed to be holding a beer in front of him. He already knew how to pump a keg and compress a drink. Kids pick up ALOT. dont let them capture peircing or tattoos or smoke. they are to young to really know what theyll grow up to be, so wht if they get a job where on earth you cant smoke, have peircings, or tattoos. they can take the studs out, but u cant kick the dependence of smoking tht quickly, or get tattos completely removed.

I don't think nose piercing's that big a concord for most people, and my niece got it done at thirteen. I got it when I be 14, done by my 13 year old friend, because my mother said I couldn't have it done until I left home. It get infected, so maybe it wouldn't be that bad to let them enjoy it professionally done.

Piercings are OK, they do no harm and will close up if they someday decide they no longer want them. Cigs in opposition are harmful. Some 11-year-olds do smoke and many people first try it at around that age, but since smoking is addictive I'd discourage them from trying it until they're old-fashioned enough to understand the consequences.
