Job situation- what would you do?

Don't do a jopb that makes you miserable.
Work in a place that you would want to approaching if you like video games work at gamestop.
If you like sports work at a sporting goods store.
If you need a work then try for one. Maybe they nursing home won't hire you, maybe it will be a different experience. Put in an application and maintain trying for other places. This is not going to be a death sentence. You can change jobs anytime.
P.S. When the college kids jump back to school in August/September, try to put within another application. Employers usually won't pull out old applications if there is a fresh one on their desk because they assume that the outdated applications have already found employment
What was it specifically you didn't like about the nursing home? Depending on what it be, maybe a new location wouldn't be as bad. (But remember, even near your experience, if you apply you're not guaranteed a job.)

Why just grocery stores? Knock on the door of every business in town and see who's hiring! It's not other announced; you might get lucky.

If any of the places you apply haven't called you back inside a week or so, call *them* and let them know you're still interested.

Good luck!
Try the different nursing home and if you procure hired at the other places quit.
