What's beside some populace and asexuals?
Asexuality(from Wikipedia):
Asexuality is a sexual orientation describing individuals who do not experience sexual attraction,or do not have interest in or desire for sex.Sometimes, it is considered a paucity of a sexual orientation. One commonly cited study placed the incidence rate of asexuality at 1%.
Asexuality is distinct from celibacy, which is the deliberate abstention from sexual activity. Some asexuals do enjoy sex.

I'm asexual, and I don't want to loose my virginity ever.
?
I understand that asexuality is one of the rarer sexualities, but why do they have to bud into my personal life.
Love =/= Sex. I can,and I do(just rarely),spill out in love.
People say stuff like "You're only young",or "You just haven't found that person". What's so good about sex anyway? So what if it feel pleasant, and it may strengthen bonds.
It's not the only way to strengthen romantic bonds,I can think of dozens of other things that do.
Anyway...?
Probably you had something in your life span to feel that way. You could talk to your doctor around it. It said only 1% experience asexuality. I'm not the doctor here.
Please don't attack me people.
sorry, what's your question?
It's fine that your asexual but as you mentioned, it's a rarer sexual orientation, there fore most general public don't understand that much about it or your feelings. Just be comfortable next to who you are. Source(s): edit: LOL
why do I get two thumbs down!?
"whats so great about sex?"
if you have to ask that, you have undoubtedly never masturbated or experienced an orgasm. holy MOLY your mind would change.
second- sex with a person is getting as completely close to someone as possible.
its vulnerable- you are both stark naked, something one would normally be embarassed about. you are letting someone touch your stark in the buff body, something that would make one uncomfortable if it was anyone else.
you are literally becoming one, at that moment.
its similar to a puzzle, and the two just fit so perfectly. you cant finish a puzzle until you put the pieces together.
and you will never ever EVER see someone at such a vulnerable state. and to see such a side of someone? is amazing.
it shows your feeling. its probably the most passionate act in existance.
love isnt adjectives about sex, which is true. but sex is all about love, or at smallest it should be.
It really depends on how old you are. If you are in your teens still, you may likely correct your mind. If not, best of luck. I do believe you will be hard pressed to find a male or female predisposed to forgo sex to be with you no matter how many other ways you can connect.
i have nought against asexuals.
it's your own decision and i nor anyone else has any business butting in.
i if truth be told admire people like you. you fashion your decision and you stick to it. you're stronger than most teenagers who give into peer pressure.
good for you! don't listen to culture who put you down!
=]
As a schizoid person, I'm also part of that 1%. I have be in love before, but the thought of sex has never appealed to me.
No, it's not a choice, and no, it's not necessarily a doomed to failure thing.
Um I simply think thats weird
I mean no offense, but our bodies be meant to do that. And you just not wanting to have sex is kinda, different
I know I nouns really rude, and I'm sorry too. But.
and if an Asexual has sex, they are not an asexual
Give me thumbs down all you want, I think that man asexual is stupid
it's just abnormal to me, because i personally can't imagine NEVER having sex. I guess that it is each person's choice and if you never want to have sex, then don't
Answers: To point out to adjectives those people saying you may be too young to know if you are asexual or not, it is possible to know you asexual from a infantile age! It is just like people who know they are gay from a babyish age.
Being asexual is not something you choose, it is just something that happens to you and not something you should be attacking this person for adage what they are like.
Some people never develop an interest in sexual actions, or have sexual feelings for someone and there is not profusely you can do about it. Sex is not always such a good item! I mean, I have been forced into sexual events and they were not pleasent one bit. I much prefer other ways of expressing your love for one another and I do not believe a relationship based on sex is entirely worthwhile. It should be based on communication and an excellent friendship, the sexual stuff should not be the major things.
if you are asexual, i support you 110% percent. but at the same time, it might be too early to assign yourself something like that. you really may be asexual, but it's also particularly, very normal for teenagers to not want to have sex, or to not be interested within anyone. it may be a phase, or it may not be. please don't take this like i'm dismissing your sexual orientation, or i guess shortage of; but don't cut yourself off forever now due to what you feel. you WILL alter and grow, maybe not out of this, but one day, you really might find someone that you want to have sex beside. and that's okay. sex is a normal, natural thing; there's zilch dirty about it. dirty comes in when people swearing it and twist it into something that hurts or manipulates someone else. and in tons cases, love = sex, and sex = love. just because YOU don't feel that way, it doesn't plan that other couples haven't expressed their real love through having sex. just confer it some time; your feelings may change in by some means.
You're asking why general public but into your life and yet your broadcastiong your asexuality over the internet for everyone to see and have an judgment on?
