I necessitate some ADVICE!! Easy 10 points!?

So there is this guy who I have set for about a year.
I have liked him adjectives along.
At one time we both liked each other but never really got together:(
But today he broke up next to his girlfriend that he had been dating since May.
But lately we have have kinda a brother/sister or Best Friend relationship.
The other day we were I.M(ing) and we where conversation about His girlfriend because she was causing a great deal of drama.
But she didn't want him to talk to me at all. I asked him why he did anyway and he said because your one of my best friends and she will have to achieve use to it because you are a very important person within my life. Then I said why is she sooooo JEALOUS?? Its not like you will brake up with her for me. He said ably don't get ahead of yourself..
So I don't know what to think.
HELP!! PLEASE!!
best friends sometimes develop into more than that...
currently, my best friend (who is a guy) i have no romantic interests surrounded by, but i did date him for a few months beforehand.
my last guy best friend, i liked, he asked me out, i said no because the relationship was so well brought-up at the time (i didn't want to ruin the friendship, which lemme tell you total bs because it ALWAYS ends up ruining the friendship anyways. if you like him say yes if he asks!) and he done up dating someone else and we weren't friends anymore after that because i told him i liked him after he started dating her.
so my suggestion, go for it, unless if he gives you central "stay away" warning signs, like talking just about girls all the time or something of that way.
He likes you, I construe. But don't rush into a relationship. If you want to go out with him, be sure to be extra nice to him. Also ask around school (his friends, your friends) if he like anyone, and if so, who?

Answers: ya he must like you so a moment ago relax for a couple of days so u aren't just a bounce back and if he doesn't do anything with contained by a week ask him if he wants to hang out

I think it's pretty obvious that he likes you, or he would enjoy said something like "Yeah I know, I don't know why she thinks that."
