Looking for mothers opinion?

This afternoon my 16 y/o son was getting ready to go play basketball next to some friends, and I grabbed a water bottle and tossed it to him because he was walking out the door. it go right through his hands and ended up hitting him right where it really hurts a guy... (OUCH!) It wasnt that frozen of a toss, but I know it really hurt him so I went and got him some ice and told him he should sit down for a while. since after he has been in a pretty bleak mood towards me. i've apologized many times, and he knows it was an catastrophe.

any other mothers out there have experience dealing with injuries to that gauzy region? how did you deal with it? just go off him alone?
I thought you would enjoy learned from yesterday?

i have no experience with this, but you have done your section to apologize and treated him with ice as soon as it happened, so I would purely leave him be, until he cools off and is ready to homily and accept your apology! it was an accident afterall!
i would b pissed if my mom did that n rime dont help
i dream up hes embarrassed & would love 4 u to forget about it & pretend it never happened..
