Long Black Hair,wanna do Sumthin Different?

ok i've had my Same Long Black Hair for all my life,i've cut the Ends but never drastically cut it. Im goin to the 9th Grade and i wanna make a payment some umphh to my Hair:) Im willing to cut it but i have no Clue what to Do,any suggestions or Tips are appreciated.

when i want my quill to change, i just tell the hairdresser to do doesn`t matter what she thinks will work, if it turns out bad well i'll a moment ago wait for it to grow out again, haha, but i'm just a little uninformed.
