Abused women's shelters within NYC?
Can someone please help me on a place to go so I can leave my house. My father is abuse me physically and mentally and i'm going crazy. If I can't move in with a friend, can I move into a shelter? Will they feed me etc?
Im really afraid he's going to destroy me. I'm eighteen... so i'm old enough to leave.

are you a teen?? is yes then i think that i might be able to comfort you in one way there is this place call Turning point they do a lot of stuff they provide classes for teens that need their GED , counseling , drug and HIV test and short-term housing for women aged 18-25

Answers: Well, if you can afford a bus into NYC, you should know how to afford a $2 subway ticket, and you can get anywhere in the city on the subway. Also, it depends on whether or not the bus route in query is part of the MTA system, if it is you can transfer from the bus to the subway. So, you don't need to constrict yourself to the bus routes, and there's not many places in NYC that are more than 1/4 mile (about a 5-minute walk) from a subway station. You also can find subway stations on Google maps, so if you write down the address and what station you obligation to get to, navigating the subway system is fairly undemanding, I did it on my first try =)

if you move into a shelter, they will nurture you and help you find a job. but you should find a friend or a family contributor to move in with. you can only stay within a shelter for so many days. here its 30. you should report the abuse. i'm sorry this is happening to you.
