13 year matured niece still like shopping at Justice?
I took my 13 year old niece to the mall to go shopping yesterday. She go to many of the teenage stores like Aeropostale, Hollister and Wet Seal and picked out some cute stuff.
But she also bought some things at Justice, and I don't really deem she should still be shopping there. Their clothes are targeted at girls ages 6-11 and and I don't want her to get made fun of. She bought a pink shirt with black zebra stripes on it near a built in shiny silver tank top under it and a couple of ballet flats.
The stuff she bought was not too babyish though and looked a little approaching something you could buy at Wet Seal though.
Is it odd that she still likes shopping at Justice? She is a petite girl and she fits into their clothes.

If she still fits and isn't buying the "babyish" clothes, I don't see why not.
I was small too and the singular place that fit me really well when i was 13 was Justice! You can find things within that look good, and as long as she is happy with her look after it is fine! Justice is also good because their prices are way cheaper than hollister and stuff...
I think it is fine for a 13 yr ancient since i shopped there when i was 13 and was never foolish fun of!

Why does it matter where their clothes are 'targeted'? If she likes them, it doesn't thing what everyone thinks. If they stop fitting her correctly, maybe you could talk to her give or take a few buying clothes that fit, but if she just likes the store, who cares? I'm 15 and I shop at Claire's, and not a soul makes fun of me!
No its really not weird you just maybe want to run her to more places like try forever21 they have cute clothes for a 13 year old and elder girls and if it does not look so childish then don't worry and if she does get engineer fun of then she will tell you and she will maybe stop shopping at hand.But good luck highly doubt that she will get cause fun of!
13 is barely a teenager, and most teenager "trends" come across to be more about showing off as much skin as possible anyways. You should be happy she's still trying to be a kid - it'd be nice if in attendance were more kids like her.
No it's no big deal. I always stop in within when I'm at the mall. Some of there shirts fit me and sometimes I find something cute.

Answers: I see no problem with it, if the clothes fit and she's comfortable within them then that's all that really matters. I am 14 and I love that store, I can't fit within their clothes anymore, but if i could then I would shop there. I occasionally stop there when I'm at the precinct, just to look. I would have no idea what teens "should" be wearing. I reason it's good that she expresses herself by wearing what she likes. It's a great thing that your niece have a sense of who she is rather than where she'll fit in. I would buoy that.

I, personally don't see any problems next to this. I mean, sure she's 13 and shopping at a store for younger kids, but don't worry about it. If she be getting teased at school, then she wouldn't shop at those stores, and if she's relatively small, then it may be difficult to find appropriate clothes at some of the other teenage stores. I agree with you when you voice that you would rather have her wearing clothes from a store for younger kids, than have her dressing approaching a prostitute. When I was a younger teenager, I had a really small friend who bought clothes from kids stores and we adjectives thought it was funny, but not in a teasing course.
